Dear Dana Klein (Parking & Transit Mgr.) & Mayor Gary Hall:
As I was looking to get my Free Local Resident Parking Permit for 2024, I was unable to find any link for registration on the Estes.org and/or The Peak web sites.
Below I copied this information from the Estes.org/Parking site "The Peak" .  It states Registration for all seasonal parking permits will open in late April 2024.  As of today, 5/1/2024, there is not link to register.
Could you tell me what the updated status is for a Registration Link site?

Sincerely,

   Christy Jacobs

Parking for Estes Park Residents & Visitors
The Town of Estes Park's parking program strives to provide a variety of public parking options to meet the needs of residents and visitors.
Parking downtown during the off-season (mid-October through May) is free, but a permit is always required for overnight parking. See below for general parking information, parking permit options, and resources on the Town's seasonal paid parking program that runs from Memorial Day weekend through mid-October each year. Registration for all seasonal parking permits will open in late April 2024 for the paid parking season that runs May 24 through October 20.
To learn about transportation options provided by the Town of Estes Park, please visit The Peak(opens in new window) (formerly Estes Transit) webpage.

Hello Christy,

  Thank you for your message.
We are working with The Car Park, our permit portal vendor, to get the Estes Park permit portals up and running today or tomorrow.  There were some delays in getting the specific Estes Park permits implemented into their program.
The Car Park is happy to help you get signed up for the residential 120 minute permits.  I have added Nick Thomas, the local General Manager, to this email thread.  He and his staff will get you taken care of. As a reminder, if you don't have any changes to the license plates you registered during previous years, no action is required and your vehicles are already registered.
Thank you for providing the current website language.  We will update that today to better reflect the current timeline.

Best regards - Dana

Dana,

Thank you for your quick response!

No changes to our license plates.  I thought we had to register each year!  Nice to know we don't have to unless lic. plate number(s) change.

Nicholas...No further action is needed...since my Lic. Plates have stayed the same on all vehicles since last years registration...We are good!
