Hello northern Colorado leaders,
I’m pleased to share our 2025 Colorado Impact Report, which highlights the meaningful ways we’re working to power a brighter future for the state and support the communities we serve. The report reflects our commitment to making Colorado a better place to live and thrive—and we’re proud to do this work side by side with partners like you.
The report covers several key areas:
- Powering Colorado’s Future: How we help drive the state’s economic success, including infrastructure investments to ensure the reliable service you depend on.
- Clean Energy Transition: Progress toward our carbon-free goals, emissions reduction, and renewable power integration.
- Keeping Bills as Low as Possible: Our efforts to manage affordability and costs for our customers.
- Helping Those Who Need It: Expanding access to energy assistance and providing extra support for customers in need.
- Safeguarding Colorado: Our wildfire prevention strategies, partnerships with emergency responders and use of advanced technologies to keep our communities safe.
- Investing in Colorado Communities: Economic contributions through jobs, supply chain and property taxes to provide funding for public services and Xcel Energy Foundation grants to local nonprofits.
- Employee Engagement: Ways our employees give of their time, talent, expertise, and resources to organizations and causes that serve our communities.
