| Designed for first responders, this seminar examines a real-world active shooter incident at a large open-air event attended by thousands. Through a detailed case study, participants will explore the suspect profile, incident timeline, and coordinated response by local agencies and federal partners, including FBI support. The session highlights key lessons learned—what worked well, areas for improvement, and the resources required to manage both the immediate response and long-term community impact. Emphasis is placed on preparedness, interagency coordination, and aligning real-world response with prior training. |
