CML Good Governance Award

Nomination deadline is March 27

 

CML's Good Governance Award, established in 2019 in honor of retired Executive Director Sam Mamet, honors up to three individuals annually who exemplify and endeavor to advance the application of principles of good governance.

 

Do you know a municipal elected official or
professional who demonstrates remarkable:
  • Efficiency and effectiveness of government
  • Responsiveness to need
  • Openness and transparency
  • Respect for the Rule of Law
  • Accountability to self and others
  • Inclusivity
  • Ethical behavior and conduct
  • Innovation
  • Representation of all constituencies
  • Fiscal accountability

Submit your nomination by March 27!

 

CML will recognize the award recipients and all nominees at the 2026 CML Annual Conference this June in Westminster.

 

Help us highlight the accomplishments of your leaders and peers by shining a light on individuals who help advance the principles of good governance.
