Sip'n'Shop Event Kicks off Holiday Gifting in Estes Park | | |
|
The Estes Chamber is teaming up with The Barrel and local vendors for our first-ever holiday bazaar on Friday, December 1st.
Vendors will be set-up inside at The Barrel from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with unique items to fill stocking and help locals check folks off their gift list, while also supporting small businesses and artisan shops.
“This is the time of year when we love to create events that bring our locals together and love supporting and connecting with local businesses, so it’s a win-win for all the businesses involved and our community,” said Ingrid Bush, owner of The Barrel. “Plus, we all get to start our holiday shopping with a drink in our hands and surrounded by friends and family,” Bush continued.
“We hope everyone marks their calendars and makes an evening of coming out to the sip’n’shop,” said Colleen DePasquale, executive director of the Estes Chamber. “We're aiming to have 10 vendors at this event selling wares, and there are spots available,” DePasquale added.
The event will take place on Friday, December 1st, starting at 4:00 p.m. at The Barrel on Moraine Ave. There is a $10 per person entry fee, which includes a complimentary beverage. As always, The Barrel is family friendly and attendees are welcome to enjoy the food truck on-site or bring their own food to enjoy while they are sipping and shopping.

Rocky Mountain National Park timed entry changes beginning May 24, 2024
The pilot is similar to that used in 2023 with two types of reservations available. One permit will be for the Bear Lake Road Corridor, which includes the entire corridor, as well as access to the rest of the park. This reservation period will be from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. The second permit will be for the “rest of the park,” excluding the Bear Lake Road corridor. This “rest of park” reservation period will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Permits issued using the reservation system will allow park visitors to enter the park within two-hour windows of availability, with no set time for departure. The reservation system will apply to all areas of the park. The only cost associated with booking a reservation is a $2 recreation.gov processing fee. The Bear Lake Road Corridor timed entry reservation system will continue through Sunday, Oct. 20. However, the rest of the park reservation system will end on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
