Cybersecurity Convening

August 14 at noon | Register to attend on Zoom

Given the increased cyber threats against local governments, the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs invites mayors, county leaders, and other key local government officials responsible for cybersecurity for information systems and critical infrastructure to join a 1-hour virtual Cybersecurity Convening with other city, county, and federal officials. This convening will consist of the following two 30-minute blocks:

Panel between National Cyber Director, Harry Coker, and Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber and Emerging Technology, Anne Neuberger, moderated by Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President and Director of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, Tom Perez, on building cyber resilience. Q&A with participants will follow.
Elected official Q&A with Deputy Executive Assistant Director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure (CISA), Matt Harman, and Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Cyber Division, Bryan Vorndran. Mayor Randall Woodfin (Birmingham, AL) and Commissioner Adrian Garcia (Harris County, TX) will share experience. Q&A with participants will follow.
