The Stanley Chocolate Factory Carousel has been installed and is operational. Contractors are completing work on the interior and exterior of the octagon-shaped pavilion, including a party room and an elevated observation area, in anticipation of a Labor Day — or sooner — grand opening. The 28-foot carousel features 18 hand-painted menagerie figures, including a sea dragon, a triceratops, Bengal tiger, a giraffe, and a polar bear. The ride also includes a stationary chariot for wheelchair-accessible seating.
