Code Text Amendment – Study Session Submission

Town Clerk and Trustees,

Following an email with Mayor Hall, I am submitting the attached one-page public note for inclusion in the packet materials when my requested code text amendment is scheduled for discussion at a study session.

The purpose of the note is limited to:

1. confirming our current compliance,

2. clarifying my 2023 understanding of the planning guidance, and

3. providing brief context from the existing Development Code that already contemplates certain sightseeing and tour vehicle operations in the CD district via Special Review.

I am not asking for any decision outside the public process. I will be available to answer questions at the scheduled study session.

Could you also please advise on the next procedural step and expected timing for agenda placement? When this item is scheduled, would you please let me know if you would like the one-page note resubmitted for the packet?
