This seems to be a big problem. Why do “we” the people, role over with nothing more than a few articles in various publications, seemingly in ultimate acceptance of the “inevitable” next crushing step of the technological advancement process? At what point are we empowered to say, “No!”? Isn’t that point where we stand, right here, right now? Can we say it together?
With best regards,
John
The U.S. will need a large number of data centers for AI and other applications. This means a lot of power generation and water use. Green energy from utilities will not be enough. So far data center builders have not been asked to supply their own power. But some are doing it on their own.
