At about 6 p.m on Friday April 24, I took my dog jolene out to potty in our backyard at 157 cleave St. We heard this very loud "squaking" noise. We thought it was birds fighting in the trees. Upon further investigation it was found to be a marmot stuck between the wall and the shed on whimsadoodles property. Poor thing was crying for help. A few of my neighbor's tried everything to help but the positioning of the shed made it impossible. We called the non emergency number. Luckily a good Samaritan came over, we lifted the shed. The marmot was able to escape and I wish him or her a long wonderful life. Whimsadoodle needs to reevaluate the effect this will and have on our loved wildlife. Thank you.
