All,

At 11 p.m. last night, Platte River’s power markets team successfully transitioned to the Southwest Power Pool Regional Transmission Organization market. This achievement represents a significant milestone—one that has been years in the making—and would not have been possible without the board’s steadfast support, the commitment of our leadership team, and the thousands of hours of dedicated work contributed by employees across the organization.

While reaching this point required substantial effort, we recognize that work remains as we continue to learn and operate effectively within this new market environment. I appreciate the strong partnership with SPP and am confident that our Platte River team will meet the challenges ahead and deliver the outcomes needed for continued success.

Thank you,

Jason,

Congratulations to the entire Platte River team on reaching this milestone.

Transitioning into the SPP is no small feat, and it reflects a tremendous amount of planning, coordination, and commitment across the organization. The board has seen firsthand the level of effort behind this, and it is great to see it come together.

I appreciate your recognition that this is both an achievement and the beginning of the next phase. As we move forward, I look forward to continuing our partnership and gaining a better understanding of how this new market structure positions Platte River and our communities for long-term reliability, cost stability, and growth.

Please pass along my thanks to the team for the work that went into this transition.

Pat
