Dear Trustee Mark Igel or current officeholder,

This is a friendly reminder that you've been invited to our survey of local policymakers.  As researchers, we want to better understand how local legislators make policy decisions. We believe that too often the public doesn't understand the tough trade-offs policymakers face. We’d like to give a voice to those in office and kindly invite you to take our survey.

This survey should take about 12 minutes, and you will receive a $15 gift card with an option to donate that amount to a charity of your choice. You can also opt-out of payment if ethics rules prohibit it. You will also receive a report about public opinion on policies in your municipality, delivered via email.

Participation is completely voluntary, but we hope you will participate. Your response is very important, so we will send you a follow-up invitation to participate if we do not hear from you in the coming days.

The responses you give are confidential and all identifying information will be removed. Responses will be collected by the Princeton University Survey Research Center.
