Jeff,
Thanks for running a well organized variance hearing on Monday.   I applaud that you postponed a vote since you didn’t have all of the studies necessary to make an educated vote on the request.
The Fish Hatchery proposed development as you know is a very charged issue.
Many of us who live in this very narrow corridor have some very serious concerns, especially adding 109 units and the impact on our safety.
I must tell you that all of us were very put off by your closing statement….it was dismissive,  rude, and arrogant.
We understand that the town owns the land, the EPHA is charged with developing the land and no matter what we say and the real concerns we have it will get built.
As a representative of our town, you’d be better served to choose your words  more carefully when addressing the public in the future.
