Hello APA Colorado Members,
The 2026 Colorado Legislative Session is officially underway, and we’re excited for NEXT Friday's (February 6, 2026) APA Colorado Legislative Committee meeting! Please note there will not be a meeting this week as these are bi-weekly meetings.
We’ll walk through what’s happening at the Capitol, outline the key issues and bills the committee will be tracking, and talk about how we’ll be working together throughout the session. Whether you’re a longtime legislative wonk or brand new to policy work, this is a great opportunity to learn how the committee operates and how you can get involved in ways that fit your interests and availability.

The Legislative Committee will meet every other Friday from 12:00–1:00 PM throughout the legislative session. These meetings are open to all APA Colorado members, and participation can range from simply listening in to actively helping track bills, develop positions, and support APA’s advocacy efforts.
