Circulating an opportunity to enroll in the Winter 2026
EEMB Colloquium course - EEMB 190 for undergrads, and EEMB
590 for grads!
This course is
associated with the UCSB Ecology, Evolution, and Marine
Biology department seminar series. Every Monday from
12-1pm, a visiting researcher will discuss their work
with our class and other members of the UCSB research
community including graduate students and professors.
The goal of this
course is to learn about current research topics and to
gain familiarity with the seminar format. This quarter
includes scientists studying topics ranging from
elephants and bluefin tuna to bees and sponges. This
course is pass/no pass and grades are determined by
in-person attendance at the seminar talks and
post-seminar reflections. If you'd like to join, or
learn who our speakers are for the quarter, please email
me, Danielle Turner <daniell...@ucsb.edu>, for
infor or enrollment and approval codes.
