One
of the advantages of being part of a large university is access to
the many departments, centers, and research groups that regularly
host lectures and special events across a wide range of topics.
Many of these opportunities are free and open to the campus
community.
Below
is an announcement from UCSB’s Bren School of Environmental
Science & Management highlighting their Spring Quarter seminar
series. These talks are designed to foster awareness and
meaningful dialogue around pressing environmental issues by
featuring leading scholars and practitioners. Bren seminars are
open to the public, helping extend these conversations beyond
campus and into the broader community.
I
encourage you to take a moment to review the schedule and add any
sessions of interest to your calendar.
