ATTENTION any current ES or UCSB student planning to apply for a UCEAP Study Abroad program for 2026-27!
We recognize the application deadline for some UCEAP programs are due this week or month. Due to the high volume of APFs, your ES team is working diligently to process these alongside our other responsibilities. But we may not be able to get to all of them before the application deadline, especialy if you send them to us the day before.
Please note, we have confirmed with UCEAP office you can submit your EAP Application NOW without your APF signed by your department advisor and this will in no way affect your consideration for your desired program. It will buy you time to get your APF reviewed and signed by your department advisor over the next few weeks and then turn it in. Please don't miss any EAP application deadlines because of an unsigned APF.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not reply to this email. Instead, start a separate email thread addressed to advi...@es.ucsb.edu
We also remind and encourage you to visit the ES Study Abroad webpage and review the ES Guidelines for ES & HYDRO Majors Studying Abroad in UCEAP as it covers essential information for ES & HYDRO students considering attending a UCEAP study abroad program.
