Dear Neighbors,
As we wind down this 250th 4th of July weekend here in Enfield, we want to invite you to step back in time with us Sunday morning (7/5).
Whether you are a lifelong resident or new to the Mascoma Valley, come explore the deep roots of our community. We are opening the doors of our historic building in North Enfield for special tours and an immersive look into our shared past.
Here is what we have planned for Sunday, July 5th:
• 9:30 AM – Historic Building Tours Begin: Walk through our well-preserved sanctuary, explore a special pop-up exhibit detailing our history in North Enfield, and flip through hundreds of years of archived photos and memories. You might just spot some familiar, old-time Enfield family names! During your tour, we will have your hosts available to guide you, history handouts you may take home, audio opportunities with your smart phone, and plenty of historic scrapbooks to look at.
• 10:30 AM – Outdoor Worship Service: Join the Community Lutheran Church family for a vibrant outdoor morning service. NB: This service an hour later than our usual start time. Feel free to bring your favorite outdoor chair or use one of our chairs.
• 11:45 AM – More Tours & FREE Community Cookout: If you missed the morning tour, you can catch the second round—and definitely stick around for lunch!
Come hungry—Lutherans are famous for making extra food!
📍 96 Main Street, Enfield, NH
Parking across the street, accessible parking to the right of the church along the building. Use the front ramp or stairs to enter.
• Cost: Completely free!
Let’s wrap up this historic weekend together with fellowship, local history, and great food. We can't wait to celebrate our community with you!
Warmly,
The Community Lutheran Church Family
