Hello everyone,
The Enfield Zoning Feedback Portal is now live.
Visit the site and participate here: https://enfieldnhzoning.org
If you know someone who has an interest in Enfield's zoning but doesn't typically attend Planning Board meetings and isn't on this listserv, please consider forwarding this email to them.
The goal of the site is to provide residents with clear, factual information about zoning topics currently under discussion, along with an opportunity to share feedback that can be summarized and provided to the Planning Board.
There are currently two active community polls:
Union & Shedd Street Zoning – Explores several possible zoning configurations for the northern half of Union Street and the western end of Shedd Street.
Multiple Homes Per Lot – Examines whether Enfield should continue limiting lots to a single principal building or allow additional principal buildings under certain circumstances.
This website continues to be an experiment. The hope is that it will provide constructive feedback to the Planning Board while also helping educate the public on aspects of zoning law that are often overlooked, leading to more informed and constructive public discussion about our town's zoning.
The background material for each poll is intended to help everyone begin with a common understanding of the topic and is intended to be factual in nature. Opinions and advocacy are welcome in the discussion section. If you find any factual errors or omissions in the background material, please let me know so I can correct them.
Thank you for taking the time to participate.
