I love my Kerrits f/s pull-ons w/belt loops. I look, feel, and move better. (I think they help circulation. Really) They are black/black, western cut, and I wear them for both western and dressage. And.... machine washable. Considering some of the prices on f/s breeches, these are inexpensive at 99/pr
They look great with any kind of boot, and if I want to wear my half-chaps, the material is light enough to fold to the outside without feeling bulky or making pressure points.
The only issue I had is getting them on and off with speed when necessary, if you take my meaning.... but with more toning and less jiggly its getting easier, lol.....
I love my Aanstadt Das breeches the very best, Sonja can make them boot cut; the material is divine and is very supportive but stretchy 4 ways. Her prices are more reasonable than some other high-market makers, but a little more than the Kerritts I described above.
Now I find my Wrangle Aura jeans restrictive, compared to when I first left regular jeans.... I find excuses to wear my Kerrits in town, lol..... Makes my size 16 look like a 12. I daresay I could put on a pair of heels and be just fine, too, lol...... no blingie belts, tho.
Cheers, and happy experimenting to ya,

I think you'll be surprised at the comfort this so-called "spandex" offers. BTW- I don't think many riding tights are actually made of spandex any longer. I know I love my Kerrits ribbed tights which not only are extra comfortable but the compression feels super nice after lots of miles. They are not spandex lol.
Let 'em laugh. You'll be the one laughing after several miles when they have bloody rubs and you're sittin' pretty. I go everywhere in my tights and half-chaps. I usually just get looks from little kids who like to ask if I'm a jockey!
