What a wonderful idea Steph.  I hope you get that book written.  I have loved Ridecamp for years!

Hi all - wondering if anybody from the ‘old days’ is still on this list? I’ve been going through Ridecamp archives, starting in 1995 (Ride...@moscow.com <mailto:Ridecamp@moscow.com>), and have made it through 1997. Watching it grow from a few posts, to a very effective list serve. With all of the growing pains, creating a digest, dealing with spam and repetitive and non-pertinent posts…. my head is spinning! But what a thing we had.

I’m wanting to write a book or memoir of some sorts, to capture all the endurance adventures I’ve had over the years, this was a most interesting way to get a perspective on the sport as it matured over the years.

anyway, just had to see if there’s any life in Ridecamp these days, I haven’t been riding or following the posts in quite some time…but was into it pretty deep for quite some time!

miles of trails in Owyhee County and City of Rocks. You sure took us to
some amazing places. Will cherish the memories.

That's funny my daughter and I were just talking about ride camp about a week or two ago and she was asking if it was still operating we used to be all over that about 30 years ago

Subject: [RC] History!

Hi all - wondering if anybody from the 'old days' is still on this list? I've been going through Ridecamp archives, starting in 1995 (Ride...@moscow.com), and have made it through 1997. Watching it grow from a few posts, to a very effective list serve. With all of the growing pains, creating a digest, dealing with spam and repetitive and non-pertinent posts…. my head is spinning! But what a thing we had.

I'm wanting to write a book or memoir of some sorts, to capture all the endurance adventures I've had over the years, this was a most interesting way to get a perspective on the sport as it matured over the years.

anyway, just had to see if there's any life in Ridecamp these days, I haven't been riding or following the posts in quite some time…but was into it pretty deep for quite some time!

Steph

It is really sweet to hear from all of you. Thirty years has gone by so
quickly. So many changes in life and in the world. Not only for all of us
personally but for the horse world in general. I still believe
Endurance.net is the best social media venue for the endurance world news
we can use.

I’m still reading. My husband and I own a business so endurance has taken a
back seat. Hopefully, there will come a time I can ride trails again!
