Hi Everyone! I'm happy joining the AWE community to discuss about the private sector engagement towards women's economic empowerment.

My Bio

Sociologist and Gender Expert, I am currently managing Tanager Impacting gender and Nutrition through Innovative Technical Exchange (IGNITE) portfolio in Burkina Faso. This portfolio includes local NGOs, farmers organization, and private sector particularly Microfinance Institutions (MFIs).

In my work, I am supporting IGNITE Client’s in reviewing and integrating gender perspectives into their programs, activities, and institutional frameworks.

I provide them with technical support, resources and guidance in developing gender strategies and plan, conducting capacity building initiatives such as training, mentoring, and coaching on gender and related areas.

I have led the design of a comprehensive Gender Training Module in MFIs, covering important aspects such as gender mainstreaming, indicators development, data collection and MEL framework. I am also giving technical support to MFIs in conducting social norms exploration for gender-sensitive strategy development.
