Dear all,
Our abstract, titled "Addressing Postcolonialism in Global Medical Exchange Programs Through the Experiences of Medical Students" for the 2025 AMEE Conference, explores the power dynamics, cultural challenges, and socioeconomic inequities present in global medical student exchange programs.
If you have ever participated in an EMSA medical exchange program — whether through EMSA’s Twinning Project, EAMSEP, ExEgypt — your experiences are highly valuable to us. This short survey will help us better understand how these programs can be made more equitable, culturally sensitive, and mutually beneficial.
