We hope this email finds you well! As the Medical Science Pillar, we’re happy to announce our newest Small Working Group (SWG): “Exploring Beyond: Artificial Intelligence”
Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming an integral part of every aspect of our life, and medicine & healthcare is no different. With the rapid development of technology, many screening techniques, treatment options, and diagnosis methods are now supported by AI, and they almost have their own consciousness!
Though, as future physicians, we have to keep being conscious and keep up with how these aspects have been integrated into our field. As EMSA, we are committed to advocating for excellence in medical research and ensuring the highest standard of healthcare - which requires us to grasp the basic concepts and conflicts that come along with artificial intelligence. That’s why we made our SWG, Exploring Beyond: Artificial Intelligence.
