Next Muhabbet Conversation: The arts of the Greeks after Byzantium (May 5, 2006, 20:00, The Demos Center)

Την Τρίτη, 5 Μαΐου 2026, ώρα 20:00, στο Demos Center, ACG, Ηπίτου 17Β, Πλάκα, Αθήνα, θα διεξαχθεί η επόμενη συνάντηση του νέου κύκλου της πρωτοβουλίας Muhabbet: Συζητήσεις για την Ανατολική Μεσόγειο, την οποία συνδιοργανώνει το Ινστιτούτο Ιστορικών Ερευνών του Ε.Ι.Ε., μαζί με το Institute of Hellenic Culture and Liberal Arts, The American College of Greece, και την Γεννάδειο Βιβλιοθήκη, Αμερικανική Σχολή Κλασικών Σπουδών στην Αθήνα, που γιορτάζει φέτος τα 100 της χρόνια. 

Θα συνομιλήσουν (στα αγγλικά) η 'Αννα Μπαλιάν (Μουσείο Μπενάκη) και η Αναστασία Δρανδάκη (Ε.Κ.Π.Α. και Μουσείο Μπενάκη), με συντονιστή τον Ηλία Κολοβό (Εθνικό Ίδρυμα Ερευνών), με το εξής θέμα: 

Ottoman/Post-Byzantine/Neohellenic? The arts of the Greeks after Byzantium

On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 20:00, at the Demos Center, ACG (Ipitou 17B, Plaka, Athens), the next meeting of the new cycle of the initiative Muhabbet: Conversations on the Eastern Mediterranean will take place.

The initiative is co-organized by the Institute of Historical Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation, the Institute of Hellenic Culture and Liberal Arts of The American College of Greece, and the Gennadius Library of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, celebrating this year its centennial. 

The discussion (in English) will feature Anna Ballian (Benaki Museum) and Anastasia Drandaki (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens & Benaki Museum), moderated by Elias Kolovos (National Hellenic Research Foundation).
