EDGEMATRIX Stream Toolkit v2.3 released

Hello,

Finally, the new version of the EDGEMATRIX Stream Toolkit, v2.3, was released.

This release contains the following new features, improvements, and bug fixes.

• (NEW) error callback support
• (IMPROVEMENT) limit the number of action rows to limit memory usage
• (BUG FIX) /tmp/lib should be added before gstd gets launched

In the tutorial, there are many updates made as below.

• the introduction of CLI including webrtc
• a list of possible option values
• max/min option values
• raise an error from an app
• template explanations including new ones (DeepStream, Custom, IoT)

Please make sure that you have already updated your keys as instructed below.

Please update some keys of your Toolkit box

This instruction will update your Toolkit to the latest v2.3 at the step 5.

If you have already done your key updates, then, please execute the update script as usual.

$ ./update_toolkit.sh

In the next version, cool features that enable remote operations are coming in a couple of months. The cross platform support will arrive as v3.0 in the beginning of the next year.

The problem was reported that GUI could crush due to the change above.

So, a new version, v2.3.0b4, was just released by reverting this change.

To upgrade to v2.3.0b4, please run the following command as usual.

bin$ $ ./update_toolkit.sh
