Hi Everyone,

               I had a delightful conversation with Margie Back last week.  She is the interim Resource Center Director for Sierra-Pacific Synod.  Here’s couple of questions she has:

1.      Is there a way to list music to share that is NOT held at the Resource Center but at several congregations?  Margie has RQM.

2.      If people are looking for Small Group DVD resources, how do you tag them so people can find them easily in the online catalog?

3.      Online confirmation?  I told her about Connections.  Any others that you know of?

Hi Irene & All,

I’m not able to join you in Chicago this year... I have a joyously over loaded calendar! a Gathering Oct. 5 – 8; our granddaughter is coming Oct. 20???; and we are heading to VA to move our discharged Sailor (served 8 years) home to Iowa Nov. 24th to .... I have a couple of volunteers but I am the only staff person here – The Resource Center is closed when I am not here, just can’t come this time.  Will miss you all!

 

I do want to address Margie’s questions ... RQM has a “collections” feature made for just the situation you describe.  You are able to list the music title, include in catalog AND include the information of the congregation where the music is held.  I’ve emailed you how-to instructions.

Irene, I am still on the ALRC list but no longer working in a center.  I am doing interim ministry in Kansas.  I do serve on the CE Network board as chaplain and we will be meeting there right before ALRC gathering!  So I hope to see some old and new faces!  Hope all is going well.
