Hi Elsa, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you.
In the new groups web interface there no longer seems to be an option to sort the group list alphabetically. That feature may appear in the future. You have a number of tools to help you find groups. To help locate groups again you can:
1. Limit the display to groups you are joined to (“My Groups,” red arrow)
2. You can search for a group (blue arrow) and sort those search results by date (presumably date of the last post) or relevance
3. You can click the little star next to a group to pin it to your list of “Favorites” on the left hand side of the screen (orange arrow).
I hope this information helps. In order to see the illustration below you need to be set to display html email (I’ve also attached that graphic):

That is a pain Doug and Elsa (random listing for the Browse all groups display). I do think the “My Groups” display is alphabetic.
You could try messing around with the search at the top of the page. If you have some idea of the group name, you can enter that. Search results can be sorted, but only by Date and Relevance.
I think I got a list of all posts by entering * in the search bar. Then you can sort by Date to see Groups where current posts are being made.
Sorry the “Browse all” display of groups isn’t more helpful. Once you do find a group you’d like to track, you can press the little star under the group title to pin that group to your favorites.
Maybe others will have some tips.
Warm regards, Paul
