Update frequency of FTP server

Hi,

Quick question on the update frequency of the FTP server (https://europepmc.org/ftp/oa/), I note that the files seem to update every week, however the recency of articles available on the server can trail the current release date by many months. 

The most recent file available is PMC11990001_PMC11999999.xml.gz which is as recent as September, whereas those available on the website (and presumably the API) are up to date with now (e.g PMC12781623).

Does the FTP server run with a lag intentionally or is something wrong? Should we revert to the REST API to pul in the rest of the articles?

A new update was released last week. We are still working on updating the set after pmcid126*
