Europe PMC Annotations API release

Dear Europe PMC Webservice Users,

We are excited to announce the relsease of our Annotations API as part of the Europe PMC webservice suite. The Annotations API provides text mining annotations contained in abstracts and open access full text articles. In addition to the popularly used data exchange format, such as JSON and XML, the annotations can also be exported as JSON-LD. The JSON-LD format follows the specifications of the W3C Open Annotation Data Model.

This model allows exchange of annotations across different platforms.
