Hi,

The following article seems to be missing from the search results:

It used to be returned by the search but no longer is. Tried via title or the id.

It is linked to the following journal article, which is returned by the search:

Could you please look into it?

Thank you
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for reaching out. We refreshed the record and it should appear now and we will investigate more to see if there is any other affected articles. Please let me know if you any similar issue with preprints search.
Thank you,

Hi Mohamed,

Thank you for that.

I am still not seeing the bioRxiv preprint being returned via the search via title or DOI. Should we wait a bit longer?

These are the search queries I tried:

No results

Returns both versions (including the preprint). But that is not how we would search for it. Also probably wouldn't expect to see the preprint in the search results as it has a different DOI.
This shows that the title appears to be identical apart from the dot at the end of the eLife paper.

Returns 10.7554/elife.90773 top, then less-relevant results.

Query: (SRC:PPR) (Dynamic allosteric networks drive adenosine A1 receptor activation and G-protein coupling)
No results. Perhaps incorrect syntax? Would have expected at least some less related preprints.

Only returns 10.7554/elife.90773 (the dot at the end doesn't seem to affect the search results, which is good)

No results

Thank you
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
The record was missing from the index that's why I thought problem solved by added into it. Thank you for providing your queries it is really helpful.
We are investigating the doi issue at the moment why doi  10.1101/2022.08.08.502889 not returning results.
I didn't get the problem you are having with titles being identical.

Title issue is a something we need to handle from our side to handle formatted titles due to the "A1" part of it.
or if you skip that part of title
We need to handle this in a proper way and it is on our roadmap.

to get the preprint only:

Please let me know if there is anything else we can help with.
Thank you,
Mohamed

Hi Mohamed,

Thank you for explaining that.

I didn't meant to suggest there was a problem with identical titles, just noting the observation, implicitly concluding that the same title search should work.
But I didn't notice the missing space after "A1". It doesn't appear on bioRxiv but it does in the Crossref record.

It looks like the space in the title may have changed over time. When we ingested data from EuropePMC on 17 Oct 2022, there was a space after A1. But using the API now, there isn't a space.
This may explain why previously the full title search did work, while it no longer works.

Thank you
Daniel
