Please consider encouraging students to apply to the Summer of Applied Geophysical Experience (SAGE).

• Program dates: June 14-July 2, 2026 (with some virtual preparatory sessions beforehand)
• Application deadline: February 14, 2026 - APPLY

SAGE is an award-winning summer geophysics education and research program for undergraduate students, graduate students and working professionals. Based in Northern New Mexico USA, participants meet and work with industry professionals, academics, and government research scientists while using modern geophysical methods to solve complex geologic problems. SAGE participants acquire, process, and interpret geophysical data at different scales using a variety of geophysical methods.

Learn geophysics by doing geophysics!

As part of the NSF National Geophysical Facility, EarthScope will be supporting and partnering with SAGE at an increased level.
