Hello All

Often visualizations and online tools can be very helpful for geophysics learning. If you are headed to AGU, please consider contributing an abstract to this session, or at least coming by to see what tools are available from others.

Data tools, apps, and websites have rapidly become a key way in which students, researchers, educators, and the general public interact with and benefit from geophysics. These digital interfaces enable geophysical data as well as the output of models to be accessed in new and engaging ways, from searching for and downloading data to customized alerts for geophysical events. These tools have tamed and made easily accessible the large data sets furnished by federal, state and community data repositories. Data sets, data visualizations, and model outputs are now instantly available with just a few finger swipes or button clicks, allowing users to focus upon the meaning of data instead of stumbling over frustrating formatting or display issues. In this in-person poster session, data tool and model builders and providers will explain the intended uses of their interfaces, and will demonstrate them to the audience as best as possible.

Abstract Deadline - July 30
