Hi All,
Recently, we held a
GNSS-A processing workshop in Atlanta, GA as part of the Near-trench Community Geodesy Experiment. In preparation for that workshop, myself and software engineers at UW eScience created a series of online tutorials introducing participants to many concepts of GNSS-Acoustic and GNSS-Acoustic processing with GNATSS.
We are pleased to release these exercises to the greater seafloor geodesy community!
These exercises are maintained in a github repository. You may run them in a codespace virtual machine as long as you have a github account, which is free to set up. Alternatively, the exercises are all posted on the readthedocs page with the code blocks and output for general reference.
This tutorial is a living document, and we look forward to adding to it as more functionality is introduced to GNATSS. Furthermore, even if GNATSS is not your preferred GNSS-Acoustic processing software, we still hope that these serve as a useful resource for introducing the general concepts required for handling these data.
Cheers,
-John DeSanto
