Dear SAC Support Team,

I am a researcher using SAC for my data processing ... .
Just after an upgrade to a new Ubuntu distribution, I am
encountering significant dependency issues when attempting
to run the current distributed binaries.

A workaround can be distrobox containers with Ubuntu 22.04,
but indeed I feel it is getting complicated when using
scripts, macros and different other codes. ...

Does there exist a modern SAC's binary distribution which
uses the updated libraries distributed with the new Ubuntu
distributions ?

Thanks for all your consideration and efforts. Best wishes,

Martin

Dear Martin,

It would be best to try and compile SAC from source, if possible.

If you experience troubles I will spin up an Ubuntu server (x86? or arm?) and create a distribution for you. This does take time.

Thanks,
Brian Savage
