Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 2026 Henri Poincaré Early-Career Researchers Fellowship at the Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur (Nice, France - OCA). OCA spearheads the region’s research activities in earth sciences and astronomy, carried out in three research units Geoazur for earth sciences and Artemis and Lagrange for astronomy.

This two-year postdoctoral position is open to early-career researchers in Earth and Universe sciences, offering the opportunity to develop an independent research program in collaboration with a local scientific mentor.

  • Duration: 2 years, starting October 1st, 2026 (flexibility possible)

  • Salary: ~48k€ gross/year + 5k€ research allowance/year

  • Deadline for applications: December 1st, 2025

The new campaign of the jeunes chercheurs Poincaré fellowship is now open according to the following timetable:
  • Launch of the campaign on october 1st, 2025
  • Closing on december 1st, 2025
  • Result begining of april 2026
  • Start on october 1st, 2026
Please note that candidates must have passed their thesis by the time they submit their application.
