Permanent Position Offer at Ifremer - DAS researcher in seismic imaging

Dear colleagues,

We are delighted to announce the opening of a researcher position within the Geo-Ocean research unit at Ifremer. The successful applicant will specialise in the use of  distributed fibers sensing measurements (e.g. DAS) along submarine cables for the purpose of obtaining images of geological structures at multiple scales.

Candidates must have a demonstrated expertise in inverse methods applied to seismic imaging. The position is permanent with the successful candidate expected to become an active member of the Geo-Ocean ALMA (Marine Geohazards) team.
