At the Applied Geophysics group at TU Berlin we are looking for a PhD
student to work on joint inversion of different geophysical datasets.
This is an exceptional position for various reasons:

- The exact direction of research can be tailored to your needs.
Depending on interest, the focus can be on developing new methods,
computational aspects of inversion or the in-depth analysis of
multi-method datasets.

- 5 years of funding at 100% E13 TV-L (you can look up what that means
here
https://oeffentlicher-dienst.info/c/t/rechner/tv-l/west?id=tv-l&g=E_13 )
including full social benefits, vacation etc.

- 4 hrs per week teaching duty in the BSc and MSc degree during term
time. This will prepare you well for a future career in academia and
provide you with transferable skill for industry

If you want to join a lively, international and growing research group,
please get in touch. You can find more information about the post here
https://www.jobs.tu-berlin.de/en/job-postings/201990 Application
deadline is 24 April 2026.
