Lori Summa and David Awwiller Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Geosciences at UC Davis
The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (EPS) at UC Davis invites applications for the
Lori Summa and David Awwiller Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Geosciences. This two-year, full-time postdoctoral fellowship supports an outstanding early-career researcher to conduct a creative, impactful, and collaborative research project with
mentorship from an EPS faculty member. Applicants are encouraged to contact potential mentors well in advance of the deadline to discuss project ideas and available resources.
EPS provides a world-class intellectual environment committed to cutting-edge research in Earth and Planetary Sciences addressing both fundamental and societal challenges. The successful applicant will also receive $2,000 in research and/or conference
travel support.
Salary range: $69,073–$82,836 (based on experience, plus benefits)

Eligibility:
- PhD in geoscience or related field (required by start date)
- Within 5 years of PhD completion
- No more than 3 years of prior postdoctoral employment at time of hire
