Postdoc in Mars Seismology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong

A postdoctoral research fellow in Mars seismology is available in the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). The focus of research is on deriving crustal structure of Mars using seismic records of InSight.

 

The candidate should have a background in seismology and sophisticated experience in seismic data processing and seismic tomography. Having a solid understanding of single station seismic record is required. Proficient programming skills are preferred. Experiences of seismic tomography or waveform modeling are desired.

 

The initial appointment is for one year and can be renewed for another year upon satisfactory performance. The candidate needs to start by Jan. 2026 or sooner.
