Postdoctoral Fellow – Carbon Storage Research (Oklahoma State University, Stillwater)
Oklahoma State University seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow to advance geologic carbon storage (CCUS) research in the U.S. Mid-Continent. The postdoc will integrate subsurface data (well logs, cores, seismic), reservoir modeling/simulation, and risk assessment aligned
with Class VI workflows. Optional interests include geophysics (monitoring/inversion), geochemistry, and systems analysis.
Appointment: 9 months with renewal contingent on performance and funding. Competitive salary/benefits.
Minimum qualifications: PhD (by start date) in geoscience, geophysics, petroleum/chemical engineering, or closely related field. Preferred: experience with subsurface characterization, flow simulation, or geophysical monitoring; strong Python/Matlab skills;
ability to publish and collaborate.
Location: Stillwater, Oklahoma (on-site).
Start date: Negotiable in 2025.
