Job duties to include:
🔸Developing and using numeric and statistical models to calculate earthquake ground motions, create and use subsurface velocity models, estimate magnitude of surface fault rupture, and forecast tsunami effects.
🔸Preparing maps of earthquake ground motions
🔸Collaborative development of probabilistic tsunami hazard maps for California from tsunami source models.
🔸Developing and validating scripts, computer programs, and machine learning tools to support in-house analysis of earthquake ground motions and tsunami hazards.
