We are advertising a 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in mantle dynamics within the ERC project "Pandora". The position is based at Géoazur on the French Riviera (Sophia Antipolis/Nice).

Project Title: Subduction within mantle convection: fate and reference frames

The Role: The successful candidate will lead the design and analysis of high-resolution, spherical 3D mantle convection models. The goal is to bridge the gap between subduction mechanics, deep tomographic signatures, and surface kinematics across different reference frames. 

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Geophysics, Geodynamics, or a related field.
• Experience in geodynamic modeling of mantle convection.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting 3D numerical datasets.
