We are seeking Ph.D. students to join a team studying how climate change influences volcanic and crustal processes.
Two fully funded PhD positions are open for application at University of Iceland, in an international collaborative project, ISVOLC, led by the Icelandic Meteorological Office. The ISVOLC project investigates the effects of climate change-induced Ice-retreat
on Seismic and VOLCanic activity. The projects are in the fields of: (1) measurements and modelling of glacier evolution and glacial isostatic adjustment in Iceland (2): realistic volcano deformation models taking glacial isostatic adjustment into consideration.
