The Center for Earthquake Research and Information at the University of Memphis is in search of a system
administrator to support our Unix servers that host data archives and web services.
The position will work with leadership to modernize those services and will work with faculty, staff, and students in support of software development and unit IT support. It is an
opportunity for a self motivated professional to provide IT advice and support to a dynamic
Earth science research department of 8 faculty members, 10 research, technical and
administrative support staff, and ~20 post-doctoral associates and graduate
students.
