Dear Colleagues

We are expanding our team and looking for an Exercise and Development Coordinator (EDC) to support the National Earthquake Alerts Centre at Geoscience Australia in Canberra.

Building on an established program, the EDC is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of the Earthquake Duty Officer (EDO) Training Program. The EDO Training Program contributes substantially to assuring the quality of NEAC's near-real-time earthquake services to the Australian government and public.  The role also involves coordinating earthquake alerting and tsunami warning exercises with NEAC stakeholders and, when required under externally funded programs, adapting the Program to be relevant to earthquake analysts in other countries.

The role would be well-suited to a seismologist or lead seismic analyst.

The link to this role on the GA jobs page is:  https://candidate.aurion.cloud/ga/production/vacancies/2913045460304798~1/edit.

The application process will close on 30th June 2024.

Best regards

Adrienne Moseley
