The earthquake science center is hiring 4, GS-13, permanent research geophysicists covering the following fields: 

 

  • Induced Seismicity -- application deadline Oct 11 

Candidates that conduct research in seismology, numerical modeling, and earthquake forecasting are encouraged to apply

  • Ground motions, earthquake source processes, and seismic hazard -- application deadline Oct 11 

Conduct research aimed at constraining and modeling earthquake source, path and site effects; geologic structure that affects ground motion; rupture processes; ground motion simulation and estimation; and seismic hazards.
