The 2026 NSF NGF Community Science Conference is almost here! If you haven’t registered yet, now is the time — our first session will start next Tuesday, May 26.
We’re extending the deadline to submit your presentation information to Wednesday, May 20. We want as many people to have an opportunity to present as possible, so please consider it!
Taking the place of a traditional poster session is a short 3 minute video or 5 slide presentation, which we're calling the Research Showcase. Each presentation will have its own persistent Q&A and chat functionality for synchronous or asynchronous conversation.
We're also organizing an informal "negative results" session where you could share a lesson learned or interesting dead end in a lightning format. (We'll even have a small gift for all the presenters for their bravery in trying something different.)
For the Research Showcase, please submit your presentation details via the dedicated form on the conference registration page. This is so we can create and configure your space in the conference platform. For slides, we'll need a link to a Google Slides presentation — you can still make edits before the conference. Even if you need a little more time to create a video, please submit the form with a presentation title and other information now, and then send us the link or file later.
