CTEMPs Hands-On DAS & DTS Training — AGU25 (New Orleans) — Registration Open

Dear colleagues,

CTEMPs will host a one-day, hands-on training on fiber-optic sensing (DAS & DTS) during the AGU Annual Meeting in New Orleans. Registration is now open via AGU Confex.

Date & Time: Wednesday, December 17, 2025, 08:30–17:00 CT
Location: New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center — Rooms 333–334
Format: Full-day, in person (limited seating)

Note: Access to the venue requires AGU Annual Meeting registration, and this workshop also requires a separate workshop ticket. All registration is handled by AGU.

What’s included: deployment & coupling options, acquisition planning (sampling, gauge length, bandwidth, time sync), QC/troubleshooting, and quick-look processing (filtering, spectrograms, coherence) with real environmental & geohazards examples. 

Industry participation: We will have industry representative partners on site for live demonstrations and networking during the hands-on blocks.
