EGU 2026 Session TS3.7 Active Tectonics and Geodynamics of the Eastern Mediterranean

Dear Colleagues,

General Assembly of EGU will be held 3-8 May 2026, in Vienna. You
can attend the EGU26 either in Vienna or online. If you are planning to
attend the EGU26, I am excited to announce our session TS3.7 Active
Tectonics and Geodynamics of the Eastern Mediterranean.

This session welcomes multidisciplinary contributions -including
neotectonics, seismology, tectonic geodesy (e.g. GNSS, InSAR),
paleoseismology, tectonic geomorphology, structural geology, remote
sensing and geodynamic modelling- to advance our understanding of active
tectonics and geodynamics in the Eastern Mediterranean. We particularly
encourage submissions from early career researchers.

The abstract submission deadline is Thursday, 15 January 2026, 13:00 CET
